Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation provides individuals with knowledge and tools to better understand and manage their mental health and wellness. Common topics include stress management, coping skills, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, communication strategies, self-care practices, mindfulness, trauma awareness, and relapse prevention. These sessions empower clients to build insight, strengthen resilience, and apply practical strategies for personal growth and well-being.

Communications Class

Communications Class 

Our Communications Class is designed to help individuals strengthen their ability to express themselves clearly, listen effectively, and build healthier relationships. This interactive program provides practical tools for improving both verbal and nonverbal communication, with a focus on empathy, active listening, conflict resolution, and assertiveness skills. Participants will learn how to: Identify and overcome common communication barriers Use healthy communication strategies in personal and professional settings, Develop confidence in expressing needs and setting boundaries Foster understanding and connection in relationships. The class combines psychoeducation, a workbook, and recommended exercises to ensure participants leave with skills they can immediately apply. By the end of the course, clients feel more empowered, connected, and prepared to navigate life’s conversations with confidence and compassion. 

Mental Health First Aid 

Be prepared to support those around you by getting certified in Mental Health First Aid. Mental Health First Aid teaches the skills needed to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges, as well as how to provide someone with initial support until they are connected with appropriate professional help. In the course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies to help someone in both crisis and noncrisis situations, and where to turn for help.
